Enshrinement Festival Timken Grand Parade is one of
the largest in the nation, and the
Enshrinement Festival has been voted one
of the top 100 attractions in North
America by the American Bus Association.
The Timken
Grand Parade typically features
approximately 125 entries, including
spectacular floats, marching bands,
helium balloons, clowns, unique
specialty units, football greats, and
the current class of enshrinees.
The
Timken Grand Parade is viewed by
approximately 200,000 spectators along
the 2.2-mile route as well as by
millions more viewing it via the
television broadcast.
The 2008, Enshrinement Festival received an
“International Festivals Association
Broadcast Award” for its taped
presentation of the parade. This award
is very prestigious as it is the top
award in the Best Full-Length Program
category for festivals with a budget of
$500,000 and above.
