5 Mile & 2 Mile Races

Over 1,600 runners are expected to compete in the Kids Fun Run and 5-Mile & 2-Mile Races on Sunday, August 1, with all participants finishing right in front of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, providing great photo opportunities for participants and their families and friends. Our certified courses appeals to the casual and competitive runner alike! Every registered runner can enjoy food and fun at the post-race Awards Ceremony, and receive a coupon for free admittance to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, July 31 or Sunday, August 1.

Costumed characters will run with children ages six and under in the free Kids Fun Run, where everyone is a winner and all will receive a medal to commemorate their participation! A new element to this year’s activities is the addition of a Competitive Walking Division in the 5-Mile Race, with prizes awarded to the top three finishers. This division is not for recreational walkers, and participants must maintain an 18-minute pace. In 2009, Ridge Robinson ran away with the 5-Mile Race men’s division, with Jessica Odorcic taking top honors for the women. The 2-Mile Race saw Tyler Griffin of Massillon winning the men’s overall division with Mattie Rankin of Louisville being the first among women runners.
