Community Parade

Youth groups, marching bands, antique vehicles, costumed characters and helium balloons will take center stage in revitalized downtown Canton on Sunday afternoon, August 1, at the Community Parade. Over 130 parade entries are expected to participate, with a chance to win the Community Choice Award based on votes from parade spectators who considered appearance, performance, enthusiasm, and spirit demonstrated by the units. Congratulations to Carol Koontz Baton & Drum Corps for being selected as the 2009 Community Choice Award winner!
